THE HISTORY The 540i 6SPD Sport Sedan has 158,545 miles on it. The VIN is WBADN53431GC96994. It was built at BMW's Assembly Plant in Germany in January of 2001. It was sold Brand New by Braman BMW in Miami Florida on June 5th of 2001 with just 18 miles on the odometer. This orignal owner kept the 540i normally serviced and maintained at Braman BMW. After enoying this 540i 6SPD for the term of the 12month lease, this original owner decided it was time for something different. On April 18th of 2002 and with just 16,361 miles on the odometer, this 540i was lease end turned in to BMW Financial Services at Braman BMW in Miami Florida. Braman BMW saw how well equipped it was and with low miles so they decided to purchase this 540i from BMW Financial Services and put it into their service department for the BMW Certified PreOwned Inspection, and gave it the BMW 6 Year 100k Miles Certified PreOwned Warranty. This was all done on May 12th of 2002 with just 16,370 mles on the odometer. Braman BMW put this 540i out for sale and quickly found it a new loving owner. This second owner began enjoying this 540i on June 6th of 2002 with just 16,442 miles on the odometer. This second owner lived in Hollywood Florida. This second owner was an attorney who traveled all over Florida to meet with clients, thus causing highway miles to start accumulating. This owner kept this 540i serviced at the BMW dealership and enjoyed this Certified PreOwned BMW 540i just recently. We purchased this 540i directly from the previous owner in early December of 2012 and with 158,537 miles on the odometer. I am now proud to offer this 540i for sale here on eBay. THE CONDITION No doubt about it... this 540i has a lot of miles. The engine is strong and the clutch/transmission are good. It starts right up and goes. The A/C blows cold. The exterior cosmetics are as you would expect of a vehicle this age and with this mileage... it has had some previous paintwork... it has some clearcoat fade... it has some dings/dents/scuffs/scratches. The interior is still in pretty good shape although the seating does show some wear and the paneling/trim also does show some wear. The rear power sunshade does not work. Some of the rims have some curb rash. The tires on this BMW are in almost new. With a little TLC this car can be super nice.
