For sale today is a nice 1969 Mustang 428 Cobrajet. This is NOT a CLONE or WANNABEE. It is a TRUE Q Code Fastback, with original 1) buck tag, 2) door tag and 3) dataplate all in tact. Last registered in 2003. Fast forward to 2011... After several thousand dollars of nuts and bolts restore the 428 Cobrajet engine is ready to go. Freshly rebuilt by professional machinist in the midwest this engine is ready to go. True 428 Cobrajet parts including crankshaft, rods, stronger lift cam, Mallory distributor. 4 barrel Holley carburetor. Balanced and blueprinted. Interior is all intact. Car only has 77680 actual miles (reflected on the title). All glass in tact All original seats/interior including flip down All wood grain in tact All original gauges and clusters All original floor panels, frame rails torque boxes and core... Car looks good and can easily be turned into a $75,000 monster. She could use some touching up, restore here and there as you can see, and a few liberties were taken with the body emblems. The car will come with a separate automatic transmission and driveshaft, not the original one. Owner's son pulled the original C6 automatic and it got misplaced. He wanted to switch the car to a toploader 4-speed but never did... ******Owner can obtain a 428 toploader cobrajet 4-speed for an additional $1500****** Owner is a good client of ours, and is including one of his classic possessions along with the sale of this Fastback.
