Up for bid is a beautiful 1969 Mercedes Benz 220d. The body on this is in amazing condition (though please look at all the photos). Interior is great except for a few holes in the ceiling fabric (see photos). I bought this car intending to drive it as my commuter. I was getting 32 mpg until I blew a hole through the engine (sadly a week after I bought it). There was an oil leak that I was unaware of after i bought the car. Transmission was shifting excellent until the engine was blown. Clutch was working perfectly. Heat works. no rips in the seats. Dash is in great shape. Engine was running quiet when it was working. I was trying to find an engine to swap in though at this point I would like to sell the car. Under the car looks clean with no to little rust. Floor boards have no rust and the carpet is super clean. Lights work inside and out. Breaks work fine. Suspension is in great shape. Title is clean and ready to be signed over. Original paint though touched up in a few spots. The car may look more red than burgundy in the photos though it is definitely more burgundy. Mileage was 59370 until soon after I bought the car the odometer stopped working. This car is a looker. w115 chassis. I wish I could have put this car back in working order and will miss it once it's gone. Lower engine block is blown. Head gasket should be fine.
