Ok let's do this again. Someone got bent-out-of-shape about my first listing for this truck and now I have to redo it (search and browse manipulation is the technical term). Listing was yanked by E-Bay. I left the reserve exactly the same as first listing so anyone who bid on my Scout the first time will know the reserve price this time. Sorry for the problem. For sale is my 1979 Scout that I have owned for 8 years. Title is in my name and dated when I purchased it. Scout has been garaged since I've owned it and only driven for pleasure averaging less than 150 miles per year and never had it off-road. Beautiful medium metallic green 8 year old paint. No cheap paint but needs a few touch ups. 3 small door dings and one golf ball size on top of shell along with a few minor scratches. Driver side front fender has what looks like several brake fluid spillage streaks resulting in clear coat thinning. Original except for 1 1/2" spring arch lift, exhaust, tires and wheels. Even has original smog equipment intact and working order. A/C blows cool not cold but needs recharging. Interior has new carpet and headliner. Seats are showing slight wear but ok just the way it is. This truck is not a frame-off restoration but a good survivor that has been well taken care of. What sold me on this vehicle 8 years ago was the fact it was not a frame-off. I could crawl underneath it and see untouched metal unobstructed by paint, rubberized coatings or other materials used to hide replaced sheet metal, rivets, bondo or fiberglass patch and repairs. Not on this truck. I knew exactly what I was buying without fear of things I just mentioned. Truck runs excellent and has new exhaust, shocks carburetor and near new tires. BFG A/T 32x11.5x15. No cracks or chips in glass. Fuel gauge is not working. TEXAS RUST FREE TRUCK. No rust holes only minor surface rust under vehicle.
