This auction is for a 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass with a 455 V8 engine and automatic turbo 350 three speed. I bought the car as a project and quickly realized that I do not have the time needed to work on it, so I must sell it. Mechanically the engine is sound, starts right up and runs well. The transmission is a turbo 350 that from my understanding works properly. The car needs a brake line repaired coming off of the brake booster so I have not been able to drive the car. The rear axle is the 12 bolt axle that is the strongest that GM offered in these cars. The body needs some work. There is rust at the bottom of both fenders behind the tires, around the drivers side rear wheel well, and light rust around the passenger side rear wheel well. The outer door skins have a couple of small holes on each side. The frame, rockers, and floor pans are all very solid. I took pictures around the entire car to show the condition of the body. The interior needs a good bit of work to get back in line. The rear seat has a cut on the top of the back rest but the remainder is in good shape. The front seats have been replaced with black units that are in good shape. The car is a console shifted car that has three aftermarket gauges that can be installed in it. The dash is in ok shape but is missing the glove box. The headliner was in poor condition so it was removed. This car could be a really fun summer toy with a little bit of work put into it.
