This is the one you've been waiting for. Reluctantly selling my awesome One Owner Jetta wagon TDI - wifey says I've got too many toys. Extremely reliable, gas saver, pleasure to drive car built in Germany - see original sticker photos. This is the very desirable GLS 2003 wagon manual model with awesome MPG - all due to the ALH engine. Dealer Services / oil changes documentation available and complete. 2 clasp keys + 1 valet key included, you also get 2 extra alloy wheels and tires on top of the spare. Awesome transportation, it DOES get 50 mpg or so in cold weather, better in warmer months. Recent MPG: Filled up tank, drove 550 miles, tank filled up again with 10.95 gal, got 50.22 MPG I get better mpg in warmer months. Has normal exterior and interior wear for age; but engine barely broken in. Timing belt recently changed, regular oil and filter changes, car needed nothing else! It is known the ALH engines are very strong, there are many Jetta TDI diesels with 350.000 miles purring along. Independent inspection welcomed and recommended. Title on hand. RE RUST:For my piece of mind and for everybody else interested in bidding I took the wagon 12/14/11 to the local Monroe Shop to have it checked for rust.Quote: The muffler cover is rusty and they worked on it - they are a muffler shop.They saw a couple of spots of minimal superficial rust around the exhaust system.The entire underbody is coated with a black tarry undercoating that worked well.The rocker panels, doors, wheel pits, underbody and body are pristine with NO rust.Overall, they said the quality of the materials and undercoating shows.They asked where I had the undercoating done - it was done at the Syracuse VW dealership.
