Up for bids 1986 Honda 250r ATC Here is a used but well maintained Honda 250R ATCRuns excellent. Ive had this since new and now have decided to let someone else enjoy this aggressive NO LONGER MADE Atc. Ok here's the history, It has been bored only once 10 over and is has just had a piston and ring set installed, as per recommended hours per recommended maintenance. I have put on a DG pipe and muffler, performance reeds and cool head about 15 years ago and recalibrate the carb at that time that still meets its needs still today. I still have the complete original exhaust that is included with it in good condition. I also have the tail light “missing one bracket mount” the headlight works well and has hi beam and low beam. The tool box is still hanging tough but I only have the spark plug wrench as the rest of the tools were of poor quality “even if they were honda tools” I busted my knuckles 3 times using them before I sent them to the garbage so they are not included either. Brakes have been inspected/working and rated at about 65-75% or better material left. Other recent updates: I have just replaced the crank seals, due to age/maintenance knowing how if they fail will wipe out the engine just like a snowmobile does, so be aware when considering other ATV's of this vintage. A new clutch pack, plates, springs, cable and updated clutch push rod kit have just been installed, as per maintenance. Radiators were inspected and fresh coolant has been installed, water pump was inspected and gasket replaced. New Gear lube has been installed for clutch and gears. $440.00 dollars of receipts of all the above replace parts purchased with in the last 4 months as reference to when they were all installed. O'ring Chain and gears have been changed years ago but appear to still be in good shape.Tires have been replaced Once, with OEM tires, as they have always shown the best over all performance for this ATC. Id rate the tires at 90% tread left. Rear axel has slight wobble on left side but still drives fine. I believe it will need front fork seals and boots in the future.I have replaced them once, about 15 years ago, there pretty simple to install for the average Joe, parts still available from Honda dealer. Condition of plastics and other parts:All plastics are original the fuel tank shows most fading of all. The seat and rear fenders are in good shape, no cracks that I can see at the moment, just average wear and scratches for the year of ATC. The head light and front fender show more signs of wear as they have been bumped around a bit but are still in good shape for age of ATV. The handle bars have been replaced and are strait, the grips are original, in fair shape. The rear grab bar is original and is in fair shape, with a heavy duty flag bracket professionally welded and sand dune ready. This is being sold as in used condition. Due to Michigan state law, you must be 18 years old or older and produce valid drivers license to ride this vehicle. A test drive will be permitted only with the full purchase price as a deposit. Crash it or blow it up, you bought it.
