Vehicle Detail
1978 Ford Bronco Ranger The original owner had it in New Mexico. I bought it from a guy in west Texas in December 2002. (title is still open from Texas) It has been stored inside for the past 9 years. . . Rust free... It has been repainted, inside and out by previous owner. Ford 400m (oil bath filter) with a C6 (shifter shaft leaks) Dana 44 high pinion front axle with manual hubs Ford 9 inch rear end (uncertain of ratio) It has 123000 original miles I replaced the front brake lines up to the proportioning valve this spring summer, new master cylinder and brake booster as well (brakes still need some air bled from lines) I drove it from Oklahoma to Dodge City in December 2002. Everything worked. This past summer, I drained the fuel tank, changed oil and radiator, put on new fuel pump. Fired right up. . .. It has a kit for a white soft top that the owner gave to me. Original interior.(except carpet) Seats are in good to great shape for being 33 years old. . . The previous owner changed the carpet to brown What it needs. . . The dash is cracked. I have a new "black" Ford NOS dash pad for it. . . The passenger rear window is cracked The windows crank slowly. I have two new Ford NOS window regulators in the box. Needs two side mirrors ( I took the non OEM ones off) The drivers side rear quarter panel has a slight dent behind the tire. The back glass doesn't work. Key spins in hole. I have a new electric motor in the box for it. On Dec-08-11 at 06:25:12 PST, seller added the following information: I added a picture of the unmolested engine bay of the 400m. Even the hood light works like it should. When's the last time you saw that on a 30+ year old vehicle. I am still trying to get the brake pedal to firm up, hence the reason the master cylinder lid is loose... Thanks. On Dec-11-11 at 11:34:47 PST, seller added the following information: I added a few more pictures of the Ford NOS parts that are included, taillight, window regulators... There appears to be a rear side widow weather strip/glass seal. I also have a nicely used turn signal/ steering wheel wiring harness, used hood hinges, original black Ford 4WD wheel center caps, the soft top kit, rear wheel brake cylinders... Thanks.
