Up for sale is my 2001 Ford Expedition XLT 4X4 that I use as my daily driver. It has a strong 5.4L Triton engine and auto transmission. It's a low milage truck in great shape and runs and drives well! It comes well equipped with a long list of power options, front and rear air, and the all important 3rd row seat. The interior is clean and shows only minor wear I bought this truck a year ago and it spent it's previous life as a well maintained Fire Dept. Chief's truck. The exterior is rust free and in good shape but has minor scratches from someone removing the Fire Dept. decals. I've cleaned them up with a good polishing wax and I don't notice them much anymore. The tires good and have plenty of life on them left. This truck has never been used for towing and has never had a hitch up under it. It was in a very minor rear bump that was completely repaired. It's listed on Carfax because it was reported to the city's insurance company for the repairs. I didn't even know that it had been in an accident when I bought it and I have been completely through this truck from front to tail to ensure it would be safe for my wife and kids to ride in.On Dec-11-11 at 05:59:34 PST, seller added the following information: Just to add another point that I forgot to mention. Many of these 2000 and 2001 Expeditions devolop a minor "ticking" sound in the catallytic converter and mine is no exception. Ford has a Factory Service Bullitin on this issue and they say, that while it may be noticable, the noise is common for these model years and they don't reccomend a repair. I've been noticing it for about the last 6 months and have gotten used to it being there.
