Im selling this truck for my friend Debra. She bought this truck with my guidence and help from E-Bay 14 months ago. Paid $10,000 and $1350 transport fee.. It has a 100% rebuilt 283 Chevy V8 with 194 heads and an Aluminum manifold with a NEW 600 CFM 4bbl carb and choke. There has been a new Corvette T-10 4 speed transmission, clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing added...These were done by the second owner that resided in Clarksville Tx. This is the 19th 62-66 pickup I have been involved with. The body is close to mint (factory bed to body ground strap still intact and in place)...that alone states the dry rust free condition of the body..The passenger door has a few minute bubbles on the lower panel since coming to glorious Long Island...there is also what appears to be a 3" stress crack near the filler neck...Other than that, the body is super great! NEW: 100% tuneup and service...Mellow tone mufflers and tailpipes...tires...brakes...wheel cyl...drums...master cyl...lines and hoses...window felts and LMC side chrome and cab chrome...New Juliano D.O.T. approved seatbelts...LMC wiper motor...heater core and motor... The glass is original and perfect as are the rubbers...bed wood is very presentable...There is an uninstalled stereo FM casette in the glovebox...it is made to fit the unmolested dash... Interior appears original and has no tears or cracks.. It is currently registered and insured here in NY and really not being used...If Debra put 800 miles on it in a year it's a lot! Debra has $14,350 "real money" tied up here...She realizes that she doesnt use it enough and storage is going to be a problem...You can fly into any of the three NYC area airports and drive home, or I can recomend a transporter...I can also deliver up to 200 MapQuest miles for $1.75 per mile + tolls (paid vehicle)...
