The car I am listing is a 1974 Jaguar XJ12L series 2. I'm listing this car for a friend of mine who has no computer access. This car was completely restored about 10 years ago, and has covered less than 2000 miles since. The person who had this car restored just parked the car, and hardly drove it due to business pressures. My friend bought the car from him about 2 years ago. At that point the car wouldn't even start. He spent a lot of money having the car brought up to full, reliable driving condition. The previous owner had spent in excess of $25000.00 on it's restoration, including a full engine re-build, brakes , steering, suspension, bare metal re-paint, and full re-trim with red leather seats. The current owner has spent in excess or $3500.00 to bring the car back to reliable driving condition, including new SU carburetor conversion, new radiator, new battery, new fuel tank, and fuel pumps.
