This will be rather long winded, but hopefully will anwser most questions. I purchased this vehicle from Audi of America with 2000.00 miles on it. It had been a corporate return because of a MMI problem( That is the navigation Audio component of the A8). The original owner was the CEO of Smith and Wollensky Steak houses. Audi Simply reflashed the memory and i have not had an issue since. I live approx 5 miles from South Hills Audi here in Pittsburgh(724-229-9000 Service Scott), Every Oil change and every thing that has ever needed done was performed at South Hill Audi. Can i change oil (Yes) Can i do Brakes(yes) Every single thing was done at the Audi Dealership, i have receipts for everything. If you have seen the movie Wall Street to quote Gordon Gecko " The salvage value of this car is over $10,000" It is absolutely the cleanest most well maintained A8 you will find on EBAY. I have owned the alot of cars but the notables are 1. Infinity Q45 i had one of the first sold(Good Car but lots of issues over its lifetime) 2. Lexus LS400 Great car Not much character and alot of weird electrical issues. 3. Mercedes E430 Great car but still alot of issues over its lifetime. (I have also had various sports cars 911GT3 and corvettes but they were just toys. Back to the A8: Interior: The drivers seat actually looks like someone sat in it a few times( which means it still looks brand new) No rips creases or wear marks. The passenger seat actually looks brand new, The rear seats might have been sat in honestly 10-15 times period. The dash board doesnt have a crack or mark and still looks brand new. All gauges work, All power seats work, All lights interior work, The carpeting is as new, I have summer mats, winter mats. The original carpeting is flawless a foot has never touched the carpeting(No stains it looks brand new as do the original mats) I purchased winter and summer mats from "Weather Tech" Best mats you can purchase. All of the door panels are crack free and once again look like new, The drivers side has a little ding that was on the car when i purchased, the original owner caught the seat belt when he closed the door. If i didnt mention it you wouldnt know it. To recap the interior is like brand new. Seats both passenger and driver are heated and cooled and have more power adjustments then you could ever use, the rear seat passengers acutally have more leg room and just as many options, the car is designed to be a true luxury sedan. I purchased the XM-Sirrius Module and it works since i have XM currently. The navigation DVD is updated every year. Exterior: The car and frame are 100% aluminum as are most suspension parts and almost everything on the car including the wheels. No rust since the aluminum doesnt rust. Garage Kept and washed because i am a fanatic. I have the original 19" rims and pirelli all seasons on right now, I also have a set of Lexsani 20" rims with Goodyear tires for the summer, the winters are about 60% the summer tires were used to 2 months. The rims are tires cost me $3000.00(Go on Lexsani's website they dont make cheap stuff), the original rims have some rash Not from curbs but just from using cleaners over time For about $200.00 you can have the rims looking like new by a repair guy in your driveway. Body: There is one little ding, you couldnt find it but i will mention it to just be honest. Look at my ebay rating!! I don't need to hide anything. This thing is so polished and washed it is crazy. Every service thru audi has been completed( New timing belt done, Brakes and Rotor done a few times Suspension pieces done, Air suspension done, If it needs repaired or replaced or my audi dealership suggests it is done no questions. Power closing trunk done, If is just a perfect vehicle( any recalls Coils MMI upgrades whatever they are done) It has every option offered by audi for year 2004. I have a few extras besides all of the floor mats the car has Tinted Windows, Led's lights , rims and tires, trunk liner, i have both keys and the full owners manual. One last thing, this car set the bar for every luxury car , All aluminum made in a plant in germany dedicated to the A8, One thing the Audi people have done is just evolve the A8 hard to tell a 2004 from a 2012, headlights. The only problem i see is that this car still has the origi nal battery that still is beating strong. Also I work for a Fortune 50 company and cover Pennsylvania, New York, West Virginia, New Jersey and Maryland and live in this car i call my office. Please dont lowball , the engine and tranny are worth $10,000 right now
