1976 Cadillac Sedan DeVille with d’Elegance Option One owner = 40,000 miles This is an ALL ORIGINAL (not restored) 1976 Cadillac Sedan DeVille with the rare d’elegance option. Exterior finished in Calumet Cream paint, buckskin vinyl top & pillowed interior. Original owner lived in Arizona, a nice dry state. It was always kept in a garage, and it shows. I purchased this a couple years ago and have had it in many shows. Everything works properly except for the clock which works occasionally. Well optioned including, Illuminated entry system, Illuminated vanity mirror, AM/FM/8 track stereo, Power antenna, Wire wheel hub caps, Cruise control, Rear window defogger, Twilight sentinel, Delay wipers, Inside trunk release, Automatic trunk pull down, Tilt & Telescopic steering wheel, Remote right side mirror, Carpeted floor mats and of course the d’Elegance package which includes the pillowed seats, accent pin striping, see through hood ornament and deep pile carpeting. I have the ORIGINAL window sticker, warranty booklet, owners manual and brochures. This car runs and drives perfectly. A/C is still R-12 and works fine as everything else does except the clock. So please don’t ask = Does this or that work? No fluid leaks. No water leaks when washed or caught out in the rain. It has the 500 cu in 4 BBL carbureted engine. No abnormal noises even when started after sitting a month. A car is only original ONCE! Cars can be restored over & over again to beautiful condition but they are never original again like this one is. The original owners son spoke of his father being concerned with a mark on the hood upon purchase in 1976. He wasn’t sure if the dealer buffed it out or painted the hood. Regardless, the car looks fantastic inside, outside and underneath. It still has the original rear brakes on it and the rear brake drum clips that kept the drums from being knocked off on the assembly line. Normal maintenance items are not original (such as fluids, filters, muffler. front brakes, shocks, battery etc). Rear bumper fillers have been replaced, that is the only body part not original. Ashtrays & lighters appear to have never been used. This car has not been professionally detailed like some are to mask objectionable issues. The way you see it is the way it is. It does not need anything. Shipping is the buyers responsibility. I will work along with your shipper of choice within reason. I am 30 minutes from the Philadelphia International Airport. A $500. Non refundable deposit is due within 48hrs of auctions end. Balance due in cash, wire transfer or certified check from U.S. bank so I can contact or go to that bank and verify funds and the authenticity of the check. I will still wait for checks to clear. Please make sure your finances are in order prior to bidding. The pictures do not do this car enough justice. I am not a photographer. It looks so much better when you physically see it. The smooth glossy original paint is beautiful and every body panel is straight and lines up perfectly. Never any rust. I recently sold my 95 Cadillac Fleetwood and the buyer is amazed that everything about the car is better than I described it, so bid with confidence. Car is appraised & insured for $10,500. This car is for sale locally as well so this auction can be ended early. I check emails frequently but I am not one to be on the computer 24/7. This is relisted due to a local buyer who promised purchase by phone and email then never went any further. He never did see the car. What a fool I was, I'm too honest. It is because of dishonest people that there is so much mistrust. If a purchase price is agreed upon the deposit must be made by paypal and is non refundable to cover my fees incurred.
