Vehicle Detail

1986 SAAB 900 Turbo SPG in Edwardian Grey in fantastic condition. This vehicle has 162300 miles, is a 5-speed manual and is an authentic SPG. Overall, this SAAB is in incredible condition and only shows very minimal evidence of its' age. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer SPG around (especially in this price range). It comes equipped with power windows, mirrors, sunroof, steering, locks, cruise control, fog lights and AC. ALL power options, switches, knobs and buttons work EXACTLY as they should. The vehicle has aftermarket front seats (new from previous owner), and the original rear leather seats (I also have the original leather front seats that will be included with the car). The exterior is in excellent condition and the paint is shiny and bright ( I wax it religiously). It has some minor expected scratches from a 25 year old car but nothing bad. The SPG body panels and bumpers are in PERFECT condition. It has new tires and the rims are straight and true. The motor is clean and tight and this SAAB does NOT LEAK or burn ANYTHING! The vehicle was previously owned by a SAAB mechanic and the engine has been thoroughly gone through (I have contact number for his shop to provide to new owner). The transmission shifts as expected and the clutch has good action. It does NOT pop out of any gears and shifts as expected. The interior in in amazing conditon and has been meticulously maintained by me. The carpets and interior panels are impeccably clean and show very little, if any wear. It has factory floor mats and rubber protective floor mats as well. The dash and instrument panel looks incredible and only shows minimal signs of age. ALL gauges and instrument lights work exactly as they should. The dash is in great condition but does have the typical SAAB cracks in it. However, it has a dash cover inplace that covers all of these and really looks good. There is a newer Kenwood AM/FM CD stereo with MP3 and USB connections. The speakers sound great. The headliner has only the slightest evidence of sagging around the sunroof and the rear corners of the ceiling...but this is VERY slight. It also has the factory rear louver kit that makes this SPG look BAD ASS! Included is the original factory manual (see picture) and factory spare tire and tool kit (all tools present). All service is up to date and the vehicle needs nothing mechanically. I would not hesitate to drive this SAAB across the country tomorrow, with absolutely no concerns about its' reliability. I have owned several 900 Turbos in the past and one other SPG and this is BY FAR the nicest SPG I have ever seen. It is an absolute thrill to drive and will be very sorely missed by me. I have used this vehicle as a "fun" second car; it is not my daily driver. It has a clean AZ title. Please remember that this is a 25 year old vehicle...and a SAAB to boot. It requires a particular owner who is familiar with these vehicles. This vehicle has a lot of character and needs a new owner who respects and understands Swedish engineering. Please do your research before you bid to ensure your satisfaction with this car. I am happy to discuss any questions or concerns with potential buyers, please contact me through eBay at your convenience. Please contact me about pickup arrangements, the nearest major airport is Phoenix Sky Harbor International. I have only had this vehicle for a short time; an unexpected financial debt forces the sale. If it were not for this I would definitely not be selling it. I have driven this car with the utmost respect and have taken great care of it. It should bring real excitement and pleasure to the lucky winning bidder. Good Luck and Happy Bidding!
