I have eight collector cars and need to reduce my fleet to four. (If you're married, you should understand) This is the car the pushed my wife over the edge. This is a 1971 MGB convertible. This was owned by a physician in Lynchburg VA for many years, driven on rare occasions. It was traded in at a Subaru dealership in Lynchburg on a new Subaru for his daughter. The car has a new VA state inspection and all lights, turn signals and brakes work properly. The passenger floor has minor holes which can easily be repaired. The rockers and body are solid with no rust. This car runs and handles great. I drove it two hours back to Richmond with no problems. Everything works properly. Always starts right up and runs great. I have current state inspections on all of my cars and drive each at least once or twice a month, so I keep them up. The tires have plenty of tread. The interior is original and in decent shape with the exception of the seats. The car has a current state inspection and can be driven anywhere. All of my other collector cars are GM and I can do most of the work myself on them. I am selling this car because I know nothing about MGB cars. I spent two hours today trying the replace the switch for the heater fan, but gave up. The new switch is included in the sale. I've had a new convertible top installed and dash pad cover and replaced the original air filter housings with the chrome air cleaners pictured. The original units go with the car. The rear bumper has minor pitting, which may or may not polish out. I have a lot of money tied up in this car, but the reserve is below that amount.
