Vehicle Detail
1955 Chevy Hillborn injected Show Car hot rod ! This car was done for the show car circuit, as a tribute to the old school drag race gassers. As is fitting for a showcar, everything was done to a high standard, using chrome, high quality pearl pink and white paint, custom fittings, and polished aluminum . there is not a single un-finished surface on this car! Even the undercarriage was done beautifully. Just like the original gassers, this car does not have a hood or front bumper, and there are no door side windows. It's equipped with: · Hilborn injected 350 Chevy - has a rod knock, needs engine work · Turbo-350 automatic transmission · chromed A-Arm suspension · polished fuel tank, injector tank, and radiator overflow tank · Cragar wheels · complete custom interior · Street / Strip "cheater slicks" rear tires This car was done to an incredibly high standard, it is a delight to look at! The stance and attitude of the car are just perfect! It would be a contender at a hot rod show for certain! This car came from the collection of the now-departed famous collector John O'Quinn. His collection paid $55,000 for the car in 2005, which gives you an idea how nice this car is. Now, because it needs some engine work, we're selling it for this bargain price! Offered by the Vault Classic Cars, Anaheim, CA, with better and higher quality photos than Ebay will host at our website, WWW.VAULTCARS.COM or call us at 714-401-1047 . I've added trunk and undercarriage photos to the website also. International customers are welcome to bid ! We’ve sent many cars overseas. THERE IS NO COOLING OFF PERIOD UNLESS YOU OBTAIN A CONTRACT CANCELLATION OPTION. California law does not provide for a "cooling off" period for vehicle lease or purchase contracts. After you sign a motor vehicle purchase or lease contract, it may only be cancelled with the agreement of the seller or lessor or for legal cause, such as fraud. However, California law does require the seller to offer a 2 day contract cancellation option on used vehicles with a purchase price of less than $40,000, subject to certain statutory conditions. See the vehicle contract cancellation option agreement for details. The prospective purchaser of a vehicle may, at his or her own expense and with the approval of the dealer, have the vehicle inspected by an independent third party either on or off the dealership premises.
