For sale a 1999 Jaguar XJ8 4 DR. The current mileage is 95,415 and it is my wife's daily driver. Will be willing to trade for a SUV 4X4 or pickup 4X4. (Inbox me because I am entertaining all offers.) I have driven this car back and forth to NYC twice with no issues. It has 18" chrome rims with 80% tread life left. The check engine light is on because it needs a knock sensor. I already purchased one that I will give you. But my advise is to change both so you will need to purchase 1 more, which will cost about $75 on Ebay. I have taken it to the machanic and put it on the computer diagnostic and I have the printout of results of the test. Once the check engine light comes on the restricted performance light appears afterward. So once the knock sensor is replaced these lights will no longer come on. The restricted performance is a feature by Jaguar to limit over-acceleration, so this causes the car to hesitate during over-accelartion. But rest assure the car still can be driven normally, it is safe, it just doesn't allow for fast take-offs. When you come and test drive you will see exactly what I am explaining. The car drives great. My wife has been driving the car just like this since February with no issues because the restricted performance light goes off and allows for normal driving. I will not hesitate to drive this car to California and back. This car has a 6 disc CD changer in trunk, engine, transmission, ice-cold A/C, and blazing hot heat work perfectly. The car has a working sunroof and all power functions. Driver door has a imperfection but has been painted before we purchased, not a big deal. This is a beautiful car with low mileage and anyone would be proud to own it! This is a smoke free/pet free vehicle. I am listing this vehicle locally and if it is sold this listing will be removed.
