This is a very rare automobile. What a road machine! I paid $73,000 new for it and that was in 1987 dollars (That is correct, 1 owner). It has 410,000 miles on it and FULL service records. The high mileage on this car is very deceptive because it is almost all due to long trips. I lived 50 miles from my office and 155 miles from my weekend home. There have been very few cold starts for this car. Cold starts are the only thing that wear a motor or transmission. Once the fluids are warm and flowing the miles really don't count, except for gas, brakes and maintenance. It has the most beautiful paint job that I have ever seen on a car. I paid my body shop 3500.00 for the paint job and he is a close friend. It is Ford Truck white (refridgerator white) with white, blue and purple pearl in the 500.00 a gallon clear coat. I tried to get a pic of the sunlight reflecting off the paint but it did not capture well. The auto has a K&N air filter. The transmission was just rebuilt by a master mechanic and he replaced the fuel injectors shortly afterward. It gets 17 MPG. The new model of this car sells for 140,000.00. I really hate to sell it but I just retired and 2 of us have 4 cars. 2 have to go. The air conditioning will form icicles on your nose. The car is really fast and will downshift into third gear at 88 MPH . What an exhilarating feeling. Brand new tires on the rear and the fronts have about 5000 miles on them.. The exterior is almost perfect. The interior needs attention. I have sheepskins on the front seats and the back is hard and cracking somewhat. (not terrible) . It has a Sony 10 disc CD changer that plays AM/FM and Mini Discs (MD). The changer is in the trunk and is fully controlled at the dash. I have Mini Discs that will be included.
