Vehicle Detail

I have a 51 Studebaker Champion with clear title and Minnesota collector plates for sale. Two-door sedan model. Original 6-volt, straight-6 engine (runs), 3 on the tree tranny. Second and last year of the classic bulletnose. A work in progress, but a lot of extra and rare parts included. Also have a little bit of history of the vehicle, plus some old paperwork. One-year old 6v battery included, barely used. Body is in very good shape. A little surface rust from being outside, but it's minimal. Only covered in primer currently. Currently garaged. Needs some interior, but has what it needs, as well as extra parts. Brand new custom carpeting to install. Seat set from a 1941 Ford (needs reupholstering) for free if you'd like them. Has all headliner bows. Has extra glove box door. Engine runs, however there's a short in the wiring so it will not start right now. That will need to be fixed before the car will be drivable. Original key and one spare key included (ignition/doors). No key for trunk. I'm waiting to receive a glove box lock and key set I bought. New plugs and plug wires. New vacuum pump. Has turn signals installed. Extra original turn signal assembly. Extra heater knob/cable assembly. No heater/blower; but has new tubing. Fender vent doors included. Wheels are not original, but I have correct era (not sure of make) pinstriped wheels and new Coker Classic Extra Wide White whitewall tires included. Interior chrome is very good. Have everything (although it was removed for cleaning in the picture). I have the hood ornament, hood emblem, and trunk ornament; all in very good condition. Included is the extra-rare dash clock. I'm unaware of it's operating condition, but even as-is, it's worth a lot. Extra working rebuilt carb and extra gasket kits. Extra working rebuilt fuel pump. New clutch disc and throwout bearing included. New floor pans to be installed. New fuel line. New water pump. Two original Studebaker visor clip-on mirrors with places to write in trip information and oil changes. Have the front bumper and valance (not seen in pics). Original Shop Manual, Body Parts Manual, and Chassis Parts Manual included. Also the Time and Service Manual; which is hard to come across. Also included is a Philco radio from a 40's Studebaker. Operating condition unknown. The bad: no fuel tank (but I do have a 12 gallon metal boat fuel tank installed and know where a fuel tank may be obtained), no drivers door window glass, needs rocker panels, one spot on the front axle/frame needs reinforcement. Most parts are still available from dealers. It will not take much to get this car driving. After that is just details. Do not hesitate! There's not too many of these cars around. Definitely an eye-catcher! Take it to shows next summer! Pics are old... work has been done and more parts obtained since they were taken. Vehicle is for sale locally, so I have the right to end the auction early. Buyer is responsible for shipping or pickup. Willing to store in secure garage up to 3 months for $75/month if necessary. vintage, antique, retro, hot rod, rat rod, restore, restoration, commander, land cruiser, lark, avanti, hawk, rockne, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950, 1952, 1953, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1957, 47, 48, 49, 50, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, chevy, chevrolet, ford, desoto, dodge, chrysler, plymouth, willys, packard, buick, olds, oldsmobile, graham, kaiser frazer, cadillac On Nov-16-11 at 21:57:14 PST, seller added the following information: There are more parts included with this sale than what I have listed.
