1966 Dodge Charger, Bought from original owners heirs 4 yrs ago, after his death at age 85. This is the first year of this body style, that was made ONLY 2 years. Body style developed for NASCAR racing. All original except radio. Original color medium turquois metalic, with black interior. Original operators manual included. DRIVE TRAIN-318 V/8, 2 barrel, automatic, and stock rear end. Runs good and drives good. Smokes when first started after sitting. Pretty sure just needs valve stem seals, doesn't seem to use any oil. INTERIOR- front seats have been recovered(not orig), back seat is fine and usable as is. Door panels and headliner are good. Needs carpet(orig still in car). BODY- Paint was done by an amatur , not well. Looks good from 10 foot.. Body work that was done on front fenders real bad. Front fenders will need repaired or replaced. Some body work done in quarters. The work done there not as bad. Floors and trunk look good from what i can see. NEW ITEMS DONE to CAR-New tires on orig size rims,New brakes,brake lines,master cylinder,fuel tank. New dual exhaust with 40's flowmaster mufflers and stainless tips. New starter, water pump. Carb rebuilt, but may need done again. New battery. NEEDS- Body work and paint job, carpet, carb rebuilt, front of console has been cut off. Someone had an aftermarket air unit on car and cut console to make it fit. Will need a new front half console.Rear bumper rusted, front bumper pretty good. One headlight does not close.
