For sale is my 1972 Pontiac Formula 400. This is a very rare car out of 29,951 Firebirds produced in 1972 only 5,250 were Formulas. This vehicle is PHS certified. It was originally sold at Nelson Pontiac in El Monte California, and stayed in California up until 2007 when the owner moved to New York. I have all paper work from when car was in California. Vehicle underwent a restoration in 2007, it was stripped down and repainted the original color Revere Silver. At that time the Drivetrain was completely rebuilt. It has the original drivetrain,400 engine, 400 transmission, and 10 bolt rear. All numbers matching. Vehicle was kept all stock, no modifications have been made, it even has the original 4bbl Rochester Carburetor still on it. Air Conditioning is all there needs to be recharged. Also the Interior has been reupholstered with new seat covers, carpet, and headliner. All gauges work except for clock. Has AM/FM radio.Paint is in very good condition, it has a 6 inch scratch on the front passenger side fender. New weatherstripping all around.. It also has the space saver spare tire, and the tire inflator tank in the trunk.Car is very solid there is no rust anywhere on it. Still has the original undercoating underneath.Car runs and drives awesome. It is always a head turner everywhere I go and gets a lot of attention at the car shows.
