Offered for your consideration is a really solid 1947 Advance Design Chevrolet Truck. This truck came from a farm in southern Maryland and has very minimal rust in the cab and front fenders/hood. I bought this truck from a young man in Maryland earlier this year who started to dismantle the truck for restoration, and apparently changed his mind. I had plans to fix it up as a promotion for my business, but circumstances have changed, so here it is for sale again. The truck has a later 235 cu. in. engine that runs, although I have not run it enough to say how well. The brakes do not currently work, I think it is only a rusted line on the rear end. The tires are all OK, but should be replaced if you intend to drive it much. I think the truck is nearly complete, although there are some small items missing such as 1 hubcap and the emblems from the sides of the hood. The rear fenders are off and in ratty condition. The bed floor is gone, and the sides/tailgate need some work. The gas tank is included but will need some work as it is rusty inside. Look at the pictures and jugde for yourself. Please ask any questions you may have. I will do my best to answer honestly. You may look at the truck in person if you are within convenient distance. I am not interested in shipping, however I will work with a buyer if they make all arrangements. Payment in cash at time of pickup.
