Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE! Starting price one penny, high bid wins, so bid to win! I'm in Malakoff, TX, at the moment the bike is in my best friends garage at his house in Garland, TX, a suburb of Dallas, for an easy fly and ride from D/FW airport. He is a police constable, so I know it is safe at his house! I can bring it back to Malakoff if you are local to my area. I'm also willing to ship the bike, as long as payment is made in full, clears my bank, and the new owner makes and pays for all of the shipping arrangements for the bike. Check out my feedback, I've sold several bikes on ebay over the years and plenty of personal motorcycle gear and I aim to keep my feed back at 100%. Bid with confidence on my beautiful 2007 BMW R1200RT. I've owned several BMW bikes over the years from Airheads to K bikes and Hex heads, for a total of nine BMW bikes and a bunch of other Euro and Japanese brands, but this is the best bike I ever owned over all. Light weight, powerful engine and powerful brakes, simple to do the maintenance on if you wish, all of the great comforts: ABS, dual heated front and rear seats, dual heated hand grips, two power plug outlets (for heated gloves or vests), cruise control, electric up and down windshield, on board computer that tells you fuel mileage, how many miles till empty, average speed, fuel gauge, and the outside temperature, removable locking side cases, the list goes on. What an amazing technological bike BMW has produced. Now for the details: 2007 BMW R1200RT 24,000 miles Clear Texas title in hand I have printouts of all services and recalls performed at BMW North Dallas. This bike also has the power windshield that moves up and down at the touch of a button and electronic cruise control, just like your car! Passed Texas state motorcycle inspection (sticker affixed) Front brake pads renewed at 18,000 mile service interval. 24,000-mile service already completed I am the second owner, The first owner dropped the bike in his driveway resulting in damage in three very small spots: the right side- mirror housing, the front side edge of the fairing, and the brake lever. I've touched up the small fairing scratch and brake lever. See the pictures below in the link below; these are the only minute negatives. This is not a garage queen, but she has not been abused, there maybe be other small marks or scratches on a bike that is in accordance for a bike with 24,000 miles. Please take a look at the 148 pictures shown below. I've owned the bike for about 6,000 miles, I did one long trip on it from my home in Texas to Northern California. This bike is so comfortable for the long haul, I did an 850 mile day on this bike, the only reason I stopped was I don't like to ride at night. The previous owner used this bike for touring as well and rode all over the country on it. Here are the options from BMW that are on the bike: R1200RT with ABS price new: 17,075.00 OBC (on board computer) $295.00 Heated seats (dual separate heat settings front and rear) $285.00 Heated grips (2 settings) $250.00 Chrome exhaust $150.00 Cruise control (electronic, just like in your car) $350.00 2 BMW keys (side cases and ignition keyed alike) Michelin Pilot Road 2 Dual Compound Tires (special rear "B" compound touring tire) about 4,500 miles on them, not even halfway through tread Here are the extra items on the bike: Metzler Z6 front and rear unmounted tires with about 500 on rear and 1,000 on front (barely used) Total new for tires $343.98 Mirror Tethers $12.95 http://www.ascycles.com/detail.aspx?ID=48310 Reflective 3m tape on rear of BMW side bags (be seen at night!) $20.00 BMW OEM Saddlebag Scuff Protector (pair) $143.00 http://www.ascycles.com/detail.aspx?ID=39137 Odyssey Battery (new) added two months ago $143.39 http://odysseybatteries.com/battery/pc680.htm BMW OEM cylinder head protection guards (plastic) $148.00 R1200RT plus BMW options, plus extras, new was $19,216.32! KBB is $12,750.00 NO RESERVE! HI BID WINS THIS GREAT BIKE! I am selling this bike in order to start a new business. My wife told me I don't have to sell, but she has sacrificed some of her toys, so now it's time for me to step up and do the same. Feel free to call me at (903) 292-9222 on my cell or (903) 489- 3100 on my home phone. Ask for David To see a total of 137 pictures of this bike please visit the link below:
