Vehicle Detail
Stunning 2004 Chevy SSR, LOADED, and very well kept/maintained by ONE OWNER who's a retired pilot, and is a "snow bird" (winter visitor to AZ). He has a house here and a ranch in MT, this SSR has NEVER seen a winter other than in Southern AZ, and was garage kept. He drove it back and forth from MT to AZ so many of the miles are highway. It runs and drives beautifully and gets LOTS of attention everywhere it goes- this is one FUN ride and is equipped with the following: "Vortec" 5.3 litre V-8 w/ Engine with 4-speed Automatic Overdrive Transmission, Limited Slip "Zexel-torsen" Rear Differential, 6050 lbs. (2744 kg) GVWR, Power Steering, Factory Tow Hitch, includes ball-mount, hitch, cross member and 7-wire harness, Wheels: front 19" x 8" (40.6 cm x 17.8 cm), rear 20" x 10" (50.8 cm x 25.4 cm). Driver and passenger Front and side impact Air Bags, 4-wheel anti-lock Disc brakes, Daytime running lamps w/Auto-on feature, electronic (switch-operated) Traction control system, Air conditioning, Cruise control, Driver Information Center: includes trip computer (personal and business trip odometer, fuel data, estimated range, average fuel economy, instantaneous fuel economy, trip timers and personalization features) and message center (monitors numerous systems including low battery, transmission fluid life, oil level, oil life, washer fluid, door ajar, etc.), Keyless entry, remote, includes power programmable door locks, panic button and hard cargo area cover release, Leather reclining bucket seats: 6-way power driver seat, 2-way power passenger seat, power lumbar and manual recline, Sound system, ETR AM/FM stereo with CD player, includes seek-and-scan, digital clock, auto-tone control, speed-compensated volume, Theft-Lock, random select, and Radio Data System (RDS), includes driver information and redundant audio controls, Theft-deterrent system, Power windows w/auto-down, etc... I'm sure I'm probably forgetting something but you can call me any time if you need more info. 520-404-1975 (Heather Anderson). ALSO: If you need a BIG truck to pull your trailer, boat, or just about anything else you can think of, please check out my OTHER LISTING for the 2007 International RXT shown in the last picture on this page(click on the "seller's other items" button on the top right of this page) it's listed at auction NOW on ebay too!! I am a licensed/bonded AZ auto dealer... NOT by choice, but because here in the great state of AZ if you buy/sell more than 3 vehicles (of any kind) in any 12 month period, you have to get a license. I am a classic car nut, I also have a ranch, wedding venue, horses, trailers, etc... let's just say I bought and sold a few too many for the state's liking, and due to the fact that they need revenue desperately- they decided to fine me when I sold a few more that what I'm "allowed", long story short- they got a bunch of my money, so that I can continue to do what any citizen of this great country should have the right to do. *** Just a note: The Auto Check says that the car was reported at auction- that's because I took it there yesterday (you can verify the date) because a friend of mine talked me into trying to sell both of my vehicles through a local "dealer only" auction (can't mention any names, but it is the only one in Tucson) - it was a BIG mistake, my truck came back with a broken console that had to be fixed, both of them were dirty with greasy paw prints all over them, and this one came back missing it's remote for the keyless/alarm, and also opens the bed cover (I ordered a new one and it will be here by the end of the auction), I guess I learned the hard way not to trust these people- won't happen again. Full payment is due within 7 days of the auction's end. Paypal CANNOT be used for full payment, they have too many fees that come out of the seller's pocket. Certified funds, cash in person or bank wire-transfer only. Payments MUST clear before the truck leaves my sight. There are no "title fees" or "doc fees" like the typical dealers have because as far as I can tell, that's just a way to get an extra couple hundred dollars from someone. Please check my feedback, you'll see that I don't sell very many vehicles compared to most folks - but I do have 100% positive feedback on what I have sold over the years. I do NOT go to auctions and buy cars to sell, anything that I have sold or will sell either belonged to me or someone that I know or is a "consignment" type of sale. I have never liked most car dealers and am not all that thrilled to be "one of them". This is a used vehicle and is being sold as-is with no warranty expressed or implied. This SSR is in wonderful condition, but please be realistic- it is used, it is not "perfect". It was re-painted less than a year ago, due to clear-coat peeling on the deck-lid, roof and hood. He tried to have it buffed and re-clear coated, but the factory paint was too thin and they had to paint it, so there are really no chips on it and it doesn't have the typical "road wear" on the paint that a vehicle with 80k+ miles would have. I am pretty picky about paint jobs (I'm a classic car buff) and I would say this is the middle of the road type of job, shines like new and looks beautiful, but there are flaws if you look closely and you know what you're looking for. He also used the bed on occasion to haul things so there are some scratches in it (see pics). I would welcome and recommend that you see/drive it in person or have a 3rd party inspection. I will make it available throughout the auction for any and all inspections, just call and we'll set up a time. I reserve the right to end this listing at any time for any reason (per Ebay's rules) as it will be for sale locally as well. Payment methods accepted must be in the form of Certified funds, bank wire-transfer, or cash in person. Due to concerns of fraud, if you're paying via cashier's check, it must clear my account before the SSR/Title leaves my sight. Please feel free to call any time with questions: 520-404-1975 (Ever After Ranch Motors llc. On Nov-04-11 at 20:22:00 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had a few people ask me if there are any "issues" with the SSR, so I asked my Uncle if there was anything that he knew of, and I have gone over it as well. The only thing that he could come up with was that once in a while when you first start the car (and the gauges sweep all the way up and back down) he has had the temp guage get stuck all the way at the bottom a few times and stay there until he shut the car off and started it again. It hasn't ever done that to me, and he asked the dealer about it but they told him if it doesn't duplicate the problem while they have it then they don't know why it's doing it. Not a big deal, and every time I've driven it, it has worked perfectly- but it's a little "quirk" I guess. There are no oil leaks of any kind, the AC blows cold, the heat blows warm, top works as it should. Please ask if there's something that I haven't covered and I'm happy to answer any other questions. Thanks
