kriegel Store Nice Ford Model A in very good condition, both driving, exterior , interior and drive train These are wonderful classic cars probably the most popular collector car after the Model T Ford. These cars draw waves, smiles and attention where ever you drive it. These cars are great as they are well built, easy to work on, and parts are available from a number of suppliers in 1-2 days when you need them. They are supported by many National and local Model A and classic car clubs. Many folks drive them on tours. As a hobby I find good cars and inspect and improve them with replacement parts. I change fluids, do compression tests on engine, check brakes, bearings, tires so while the car may not be perfect, it will be a good safe, reliable car. I note all defects I find below so there are no surprises for the buyer This car has many good options - rear trunk is a locking all steel box. This is a great accessory to carry your spare parts, and luggage as it locks and is rain proof - chrome stone guard on the radiator - winged temperature gauge on the radiator - has the hard to find locking spare cans on the running board for gas, oil and water (classic) - has fender mounted spare on swing out mounting Some of the good points. I changed the old style upper and lower distributor plates to the modern Ford more reliable new style. Old plates are included as spares changed the oil in engine, transmission, and differential all checked good with engine reading a steady 60 pounds per inch on all 4 cylinders has old style add on oil pressure gauge oil pressure 60 psi good tires and spare wheel rims appear to be powder coated yellow good roof and interior some small stains (2 or 3 very small ) on rood liner all windows work, no cracks I changed 2 springs in the drag link I balanced the two front wheels there are two working horns rear view mirrors Go to ImageShack® to Create your own Slideshow I always describe the defects I see so you will not be disappointed when the car arrives I have been selling on EBAY SINCE 1999 and want to keep my 100 percent reputation bumpers are nice but are painted chrome, not chrome steering wheel has minor spoke cracks gas shut off valve is stiff I need pliers to turn it ( I am old) gas gauge appears inoperative windshield wiper motor not working steering wheel has two extra horn buttons on it which work while standard center horn button does nothing front windshield opens easily but driver side window slide (that holds window open is cracked) one hub cap has chrome chipped flaked off part of it windshield glass has some scratches from windshield wiper blade headliner on edge has a small hole the size of a nickle hard to see I recommend checking shipping cost while auction is on by linking auction to uship.com I have gotten some great rates I assist on shipping overseas car is insured, inside locked dry storage for pick up Overseas buyers due to unfortunate fraud on cashiers checks I only accept wire transfers from overseas This car is for sale locally and on other auction sites so I reserve the right to end auction early Car can be stored inside locked insured storage for 45 days free upon payment This is a common rating guide I would rate this car easily in the "very good" category" Excellent: This rating referred to a current maximum professinal standards of quality in every area or a perfect original survivor with all components showing like new. This is usually a top winning show quality car or a “Trailer Queen”. In a sense it has ceased to be an automobile, but a work of art. There are very few #1 cars and they are rarely driven. Fine: A well-restored or a combination of superior restoration and or excellent original. Also an extremely maintained original showing minimum wear. Except for close inspection, a #2 car may appear as a #1. This car will take top awards, except when squared off against a #1. Very Good: Completely operable original or “older restoration” showing wear, or a good amateur restoration, presentable inside and out. Also a partially restored car with all the components, or parts, to complete the restoration. This car is the “20 footer". It looks great from 20 feet, but may show wear inside and out upon closer inspection. In general most cars are of this category. Good: A driveable vehicle needing no, or minor, work to be functional. Also a deteriorated restoration or a very poor amateur restoration. In this category, I will put project cars that are decent. Restorable: Needs complete restoration of the body, chassis and interior. It may, or may not, be running. It typically isn’t weathered, wrecked, and totally stripped of parts. This is a project that needs everything and may also be a car that is a "street rod" candidate. These cars are restorable project cars. They require more for restoration. . Parts Car: May or not be running, but is weathered, wrecked, rusted, and/ stripped for parts. These typically are donor or parts cars and not candidates for restoration. It may also be incomplete or cut. I use this category for many of my salvage yard cars, but review descriptions. In this category there are usually cars that are great donors for street rod projects and/or have many valuable parts on them.
