1972 Volkswagen type 2 Kombi Bus- I purchased this bus in Sacramento in 1997 and shipped it to my home in Florida. I drove it for a year until I had a fuel line issue and took it to a so-called mechanic. (I am not mechanically inclined whatsoever) after hundreds of dollars and no success I had it towed back to my garage where it’s sat since. Life and work have kept me from finishing my dream ride. I’m totally bummed that I must part with her. The wife will no longer let me keep it in the garage. The interior has been restored and is still in fantastic condition. Original radio and dash. Floorboards are solid. I still sit in her and drink cold beer after work. The body has the original paint and has written directions in German on the sliding door, very cool. She has a few dents and needs a rear bumper. Needs tires, I think the ones on it are original. The engine has not been running for years but is not frozen-up. I have the original owner’s manual as well. There are service records inside the manual from day of delivery October 10 1972 thru May 23rd 1980. I hold a salvage certificate as title. She was vandalized in the 80's that led to salvage. She was a one owner vehicle. This is a sweet bus.
