Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE! I will not cancel this auction if only one bid! HERE IS A GREAT CANDIDATE FOR RESTORATION AS FAR AS I KNOW, THIS IS A 1965 CORVETTE 396 Big Block COUPE, 4 SPEED. THIS IS A ROLLING BODY with interior. Some 2000 of these first big block cars were made in 1965. About 750 were coupes. This has the 6500 RPM high red line tach, 80 psi oil gauge, Teak-wood Steering Wheel, bigger front sway bar, front disc brakes, battery box is located on driver's side, 3/8 gas line on passenger side top frame, and big block hood. MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION ARE NOT INCLUDED. THIS CAR HAS BEEN OFF OF THE ROAD FOR A VERY LONG TIME. IT DOES ROLL. Car came to town in the late 70's. Original motor was in it. Car was sold to another person and he removed motor to run in a race car. He sold the car to another without the motor and transmission. That fellow put a small block in it and drove it a couple years. A friend of mine bought it and gave up on fixing it and is how I acquired it. I HAVE A 396 bare BLOCK THAT GOES WITH DEAL. I THINK IT CAME OUT OF A 68 MODEL CAR. Side pipe exhaust was missing when I bought it.The fenders have been flared. Front headlights were removed and filled in. THE BIRDCAGE AND DRIP RAILS ARE DECENT, ALL GLASS IS GOOD. Paint is peeling. The frame is solid and has had No repairs. Car has not been wrecked. Body is in great shape other than the front nose had too much modification done and it could not stand the stress. It cracked and I removed it. I do have a replacement nose from a donor car included. The rear end exploded during a race and was replaced with a Camaro type rear end. PARTS INCLUDED: Rear bumpers, replacement nose from a 65 donor car.(See pictures). Big block radiator, drive shaft, stainless window trim, hood vents, gas cap cover, and a 396 bare block that needs a lot of attention. Parts not included: Original rear end, original motor, transmission, shifter, front bumpers, original rims and no head light buckets. '63-'67 CORVETTES ARE GETTING TOUGH TO FIND. Especially a big block car. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS Please ask! THERE IS NO VIN INFORMATION OR TRIM TAG ON THE Z-BAR. (Someone stole them while in storage) I DO HAVE THE TITLE, ****Title and frame vin numbers match.**** I WILL ALSO GIVE BUYER BILL OF SALE IF NEEDED. TERMS: YOU MUST POST A $500 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT within 3 business days OF AUCTION ENDING. NOTE: ONLY A DEPOSIT USING PAYPAL ACCEPTED. Full payment within 7 business days. CERTIFIED BANK CHECK, CASH OR CASHIERS CHECK ONLY. ON CERTIFIED BANK CHECK OR CASHIERS CHECK, FUNDS MUST CLEAR THE BANK PRIOR TO RELEASING TITLE AND CAR. ONCE THE CAR IS PAID FOR (FUNDS CLEARED). THEN YOU CAN MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO PICK UP THE CAR. THIS IS A USED VEHICLE, AND NO WARRANTIES ARE EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED IN ANY WAY WHATSOEVER. IF YOU ARE TRANSPORTING THE CAR, DEPENDING ON DESTINATION, I CAN PROVIDE YOU WITH A LOCAL CONTACT NUMBER. TRANSPORTING IS THE BUYERS FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY. PLEASE REMEMBER BUYER IS FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR COLLECTION AND/OR SHIPPING OF THIS VEHICLE. I WILL TRY TO HELP WHERE POSSIBLE. NO RESERVE! Good Luck Bidding! I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS LISTING AT ANY TIME SHOULD THE VEHICLE NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE, AS THIS VEHICLE IS ALSO BEING ADVERTISED LOCALLY FOR SALE.
