Up for sale is my 1993 ford probe GT, It was drivable at the time that the photos were taken but the engine over heated and I have no time to take it apart and fix it. I know that it still turns over, because I shut the engine off as soon as I saw it heating up, but in just wont start up again. I don't know what it will take to get it running again. It could be any where from a timing belt issue, to a cracked head. It is a non interference engine so if it's the timing belt it would be a simple fix. If I would be the one buying this car I would put in the mazda KL ZE, KL31 engine, which has 200 hp and is a bolt up identical to the factory engine that is in it now. However I want to give someone else a chance. If you are not so much interested in high performance, and would rather customize it to your own liking to and save yourself the expense of having to have a mechanic put it in, this is the car for you! I really like this car and I'm surprised that I'm actually getting myself to sell it. It drives fast and handles exceptionally well for a car that old! There are a few dents and scratches, and they are visible on the drivers side, (as pictured). The previous owner got minorly rearended, so the hatch and rear bumper were replaced. Even though it is a probe, the paint, wheels, and good sounding exhaust system, make this one a real head turner! I had it for a year and a half and it never gave me trouble. So even though the engine needs work, I can assure you that the rest of the car is sound! It has aftermarket muffler and intake. Sleepy eye modification, and a short shifter for quicker shifting. the tires are all NEXEN 5000's and the rear has about 75% and the front has 35% tread left. All tires show equal wear, so you can know that it tracks well. Please if you're at all interested, feel free to give me a call or tx with any questions!
