I am selling my 1965 Mustang Convertible that has been completed redone (within the past three years). NO KNOWN RUST again NO KNOWN RUST. This is my first classic car that I purchased about three years ago. The paint is three years old and is Candy Apple Red. It is a gold base with candy apple red overlay. The paint job is beautiful, very deep color red. Everywhere I drive the car, people stop and tell me how outstanding the car looks. The paint/car gets a lot of attention. The care has won two "Best Paint" awards during the past two years. The car has won many first and second place trophies at local car shows. I have the paint codes. When I purchased the car, the previous owner had completed the exterior and interior restoration (not a frame off). Since I purchased the car, I have spend a lot of money and time improving the car. Some of the big items include front disk brakes, new exhaust (duel), center console, the entire suspension has been replaced, new steering components, new carpet, engine has been detailed, new manifold, the interior has been padded with sound deadener, led lights at rear, new drum brakes at rear. There are many more items that have been replaced, I just cannot remember them all. The car runs great and looks great. The previous owner told me that the engine had been rebuilt. It does not smoke or burn oil. Like I stated, the car really stands out at the car shows and I get alot of feedback from people commenting how great the car looks. However, the car is not a show car. The paint job is very good, but, not perfect. It is a 46-year old car, but, the overall condition is above average. The paint on the rear does have a very small chip that needs to be repaired. The dash gauges do not work, but, I have the part needed to get them going. The car has not gotten wet (rain) since I have purchased it. Since some of the photographs were taken, the GT lights have been added to the grill (the grill is new). Also, the wire wheel covers have been replaced with the model-correct covers. The carb is new and the ignition has been converted to electronic. The heater components are new. The underside of the car has been coated. New gas tank. I have alot of the papers showing the restoration. Looking at the pictures in this Ebay Listing, the car looks better in person. My 10-year old daughter is very upset that I am selling my Mustang!
