This is a 2000 Jaguar S-Type, which has been my daily driver for the last 4+ years. During that time it has provided 54,000+ miles of worry-free driving, with only regular maintenance and minor occasional repairs needed. The 3.0 V6 is a great engine that provides good power and economy. It starts, runs, sounds great, has great power, and I've never seen any smoke from the tail pipe nor oil spots on the driveway. I've used high quality filters and Mobile 1 synthetic oil in this car consistently since I've owned it. The 5 speed automatic shifts smoothly. The drive-train has proven strong and dependable. I have recently started driving another vehicle, and this one has to go. As you can see from the pictures, this Jag is in great shape inside and out. I've never had an accident in this car. The body is nice and straight with only very minor scuffs and light scratches here and there typical for a car this age, but overall the body and paint are above average condition. The condition of the interior is also above average, with great looking black leather seats, black carpet and complete mat set, and other nice touches. The headliner material is a bit wrinkled in a spot or two, but it is not hanging down anywhere and overall the interior looks very nice. The tires are Bridgestone Turanza Serenity all-season touring tires and have lots of tread left on them. I had this car aligned right after I bought it (somewhere around 50K miles ago) and there is still no unusual tread wear, and the car tracks straight and true. The climate control works great and A/C blows very cold. Known issues: Time for shocks. The car rides fine but at least two shocks have worn out bushings so you occasionally hear a rattle/squeak noise coming from them (they are original). Brakes have LOTS of pad left on them, but one of them occasionally make a high-pitched squeal (like a whistle). I'm guessing the ceramic pads in the front are the cause of this since they only do this in certain (usually cold) temperatures. It's not super loud when it happens, but wanted to point it out. The rotors look great all around, and the car stops great. There is a heat shield on the exhaust somewhere that causes a metallic rattle occasionally. This is probably a really easy fix but I just haven't taken the time to get up under the car and find out. Tires have lots of tread left but need to be rotated and balanced (just didn't get around to having that done). I may address these issues myself if time allows in the coming weeks, but it will only make the price go up. These are simple fixes that do not affect the drive-ability of the car.
