This is an excellent condition 1965 Ford Falcon Futura 2 door with 74k original miles and garage kept most of it's entire life. I have been restoring cars for over 15 years and let me just say that this has been the most solid early model car I have seen yet. It has the original 170 c.i. straight 6 motor gears and automatic c4 transmission with the original 7.25 rear with seals, 3.10 gears. The interior is in excellent shape for the year and was color changed from teal blue to the black, the headliner is a snow white very clean and strong with no rips or tears, no leaks on any of the seals, seats are original with some minor wear on cloth but no damage. Carpet is mint. Underdash wiring etc. in excellent shape and heater/ fan assembly works like new, all lighting works except 2 bulbs that need replaced on guage cluster. Speedometer, blinkers, running lights, brake lights, etc all work great. Door panels are in fair condition and if you watch my video you will see that door hinges, jams and under doors are original with no bondo or anything. The exterior is in great shape and only has minor rust starting to form on the rear wheel wells. A very straight car with no body damage anywhere. All the chrome is in great shape and complete. The engine compartment is very clean and the sidewalls have no areas of body bends or anything. The total wiring in the engine compartment is new, everything on the motor is new to include a brand new aftermarket chrome long tube header, NOS holley 1964 550 cfm carburetor, and chrome valve cover with loom kit. Compression tests on all cylinders where at 145-160 on all cylinders and the radiator and flo system are very clean and smooth flowing. Has original horns along with extra loud air horns, new battery and starter solenoid with cables, c4 tranmission has new filter and pan seal and new upper ball joints on both front upper arms. The body lines on this car are the best I have seen and the only item that is not with the car is the original steering wheel. The exhaust is fab but new and I have the original carb, exhaust manifold, and valve cover to go with the car. As you will see in the pictures and video, the roof and drip railing over the doors has not been touched and in excellent condition. Car will start on first rotation and only needs a moment to get warmed up. The rear brake wheel cylinders will need replacement soon but I have those to go with the car also and all the rest of the brake system is new. The car has been garage kept in inner city florida for the past 20 years and was family owned since new and as you can see barely driven and well taken care of. The car was repainted I believe in 1997 and I would say not high cost professional but overall a great job and it's original color. The wheel wells have not been roled or any other mods like a v8 swap and all that stuff leaving this car as one of very few left with original equipment. the car came factory with no stereo and has never had one installed, neither upper or lower floor pans have been replaced and the original sound deadener is still under the carpeting.
