Well, I thought I sold this 2 weeks ago for full price but the buyer flaked out. I bought this bike a little over 2 years ago from my best friend and he is still my best friend. I have added hard leather bags, a Mustang Seat with removable backrest (much better than the stock saddle), added a tank strap and moved the pegs forward 2 inches. I am 6.5" but anyone 6 foot or taller will feel really comfortable. Succinctly stated, this bike is a beast with a heck of a lot of horsepower and plenty of snap in all gears. Anyone who wants to get maximum bang for the buck should research owner reviews of the VTX. The bike has a throaty growl, yet idles very smoothly. It has gobs of torgue. It's just a big gutsy motorcycle that likes to cruise on the highway. This is the reason I am going to trade down to a smaller bike because I do all my riding in the city and want something with less power. This is a cycle for the open road. Everything works and it has never been laid down (as far as I know since I am not the orginal owner. The front tire could be replaced in about 1,000 miles and there is a small dent in one of the pipes. I also scratched the paint a little on the top of the rear fender when I was installing the bags. This is a clean bike that has been maintained at the dealership and you will not regret powering down the highway. I love the dynamic braking which mixes rear and front brakes. It also comes with a throttle friction cruise control, to give your right wrist a rest. The reserve is way below book so bid away my friends. No shipping outside the US.
