Somebody is going to get a great deal. I bought this car in 2008 for $22,000 (and will show you the paperwork if you like). I've put ~$2,000 into it. I now need the cash for my daughter's college tuition and I need to sell in October while it is still convertible season. Beautiful 68 Convertible, garaged, well maintained and drives great. This is NOT a numbers-matching engine. The original car had the 427 big block. The car now has the small block Chevy 350 that was installed prior to my purchasing the car. It has 85,000 miles on the odometer, but I don't know how many miles were put on after the engine was replaced. The engine runs extremely strong. This car handles 100 mph without a struggle. She is like a smokin' hot 40 year old woman - looks spectacular from a little distance but you see the flaws when you get really close. The headlamp and wiper doors work beautifully. The convertible top is nearly brand new. The car has been repainted and looks great from a distance. Up close you can see the overspray. Gages other than the clock and radio work. Brakes are new. Alternator is new. Interior is functional but could use some work. Wiring in the interior is sloppy. Carpeting is pretty sloppy too. Seats are original, I think. Someone leaned on the driver's side mirror and has broken it off, which isn't shown on the photos. Also, I replaced the blinker switch in the steering column, but there's still a short somewhere.
