If you’re looking for a good solid Jetta TDI with the original style injection pump engine that will easily achieve 50MPG and want one that was well kept and low mileage, then this is that needle in a haystack car. It’s my 2001 Jetta GLS 4 Door 5-Speed TDI. Read on for a full description. Mechanically this car is very sound. Starts up great, runs well with good power, transmission and clutch also feel solid with no slipping or grinding. BFGoodrich Tires are good with about 80% tread, brakes are thick and has a current PA State inspection until April/2012. All glass is clean and lights are working correctly. A/c, heat, cruise, all power options are working great as well. This car needs nothing. Cosmetically it is in the same condition, very nice. No scratches, dents or damage. Just clean paint. Maybe a door ding and a few stone chips on the front bumper but that’s it. It does show an accident on autocheck but it is undetectable, very good job if anything was repainted. The car was just professionally detailed and waxed and it looks great. The interior is also very nice. Seats, carpets, headliner are all very clean without stains or wear out marks, but guys it’s 10 years old and there are a few imperfections to be expected. All options are working correctly. Very clean smelling inside, I wouldn’t suspect they were a previous smoker or pet owner. No kids either we didn’t find any cheerios under the seat or milk or crayon stains anywhere. I have two key fobs, one valet key and owners manual. I think anyone would be very happy to own this vehicle. I’m asking $9,999 for this car and I’m not looking for any low ball offers, it’s a great car and you don’t find many with this kind of mileage and in this condition. If you are after a simple motor tdi with low mileage there just aren’t any out there, the last one I had was an 2002 with 65k miles and I sold it for $12k so this seems like a good deal.
