1937 Packard 120 This is a consignment auction that I am doing to help someone out. Up For Sale is a 1937 Packard 120 that has been in the same family since approximately 1966. It was used moderately for some local car shows. The original color of the car was dark blue but was painted black a little over 30 years ago. The vehicle has always been stored inside and covered. The paint is starting to chip in some areas but is still very presentable. The engine was rebuilt in 1974 or 1975 and has only had 3,000 to 4,000 miles put on it attending local car shows. The upholstery, carpet and headliner have all been replaced, however there are now moth holes in three major areas of the headliner and will need to be replaced. The seats, door panels and carpet are in good condition and are very presentable. All of the vehicles gauges work but the gas gauge sending unit is erratic. The car has an electric fuel pump that has been installed to aid in starting. It runs well but once it is up to temperature and shut off it is hard to restart while the car is at running temperature. It has the same tires that were on it when it was purchased in 1966. The exterior lights work but the interior lights do not. The right windshield wiper arm is missing, however the left wiper is in tact. The chrome on the entire car is pitted but still shiny and presentable. This car is available for inspection in Yorktown, IN by appointment. I can take additional pictures of specifics if requested.
