Vehicle Detail

1967 Porsche 912. This is a running, driving, 1967 Porsche 912. I have a clear Utah title in my name. The original engine and transmission work well and the car stops as it should. It has a new battery, and very good tires. I have taken numerous photos of the car to assist you in evaluating its condition. The photos have been super-sized to assist your ability to evaluate the car. The reserve price on the car is very low based on the condition of the body. The car looks better than it is in the Ebay photos. I want the new buyer to know exactly what they are bidding on and I want the new owner to be completely satisfied with the car. The negative issues are as follows: 1. The car has after-market flared fenders. 2. When the flared fenders were installed, the car's body metal was not properly prepared. Because of this, there is rust developing around the seams where the flared fenders attach to the original body. 3. The floors have been repaired and are in good shape, but it is not the original pan. 4. The are some electrical problems that will need to be address. The wiper system is complete, but doesn't work. Most of the electrical problems appear to be minor, but I want to be sure all of the problems are addressed. 5. The interior is average, but not perfect. There are some seam splits in the original material. There are serviceable after-market seat-covers in place. 6. The driver's side door seam needs alignment. This week, I have driven the Porsche 912 over 50 miles and it drives straight, brakes smoothly, and shifts properly. Please look closely at the photos, and give me a call if you have any questions. My home phone number, which is still attached to my kitchen wall, is (801) 745-0599. Thanks for looking, and if you are looking for a restoration project, my Porsche is a good opportunity. If you have less than 5 positive feedbacks in your Ebay feedback score, please email or give me a call before bidding. I want this to be a good, straightforward, auction. Good luck bidding. On Oct-08-11 at 08:38:25 PDT, seller added the following information: An Ebay bidder asked for the "Paint Code" and the "Engine Number." These are the numbers I found on my car. The "Paint Code" is as follows: 69 6602 L. From a close inspection of the car, it appears that the original color was a Blue/Silver color. The number I found on the engine is as follows: 616101.216.01. Just after this number is the letter "H" within a circle. The engine appears to be original to the car and it runs good.
