A '66 Corvair Corsair convertible needing full restoration. NOT DRIVEABLE as is. We have started the car in the past using a remote gas bottle (the fuel system needs cleaned out). The mileage is probably close to accurate, as the car has not been on the road for around 30 years.The body needs typical repair & restoration. I have tapped on the floorboards in various places, and though rusty, they seem fairly solid. I have never driven the car, so I don't know if it's a 3 or 4 speed manual, or what cond. the trans. is in. The interior needs totally redone. The front seats are probably repairable, as is the dash. The car comes with lots of good parts, inc.: decent bumpers and an older but new white convertible top. Please do not bid if you do not know how to restore such a project. This is local pickup, but I can help with loading if nec. Contact me if you would like to inspect prior to purchase. We are in the Akron, OH area off a main state route (SR 18). This will make a nice restoration project. I bought it years ago for that purpose, but time will not allow me to get to it.
