You are bidding on a Jaguar XKE 1969 Coupe. This is a project car. It has New York State transferable registration and the orginal identification plate. Not sure of the year but should be all that you need to title the vehicle if you wish. As you can see in the photos, the body needs extensive rust repair on the driver side. New inner and outer sills for the driver side are included, new driver side floor pan and other assorted sheet metal parts. Passenager side door is a new skin. The car is sitting on a XJS power lock rear end 3.31 gears. The intention was to narrow this rear end and use it. The front suspension is also XJS, it is spot welded in place so the car will steer and roll for easy transport. By the time the listing ends there will be a steering shaft and steering wheel installed and the engine will be hung for transport. There is no tranmission , the owner was going to use a 5 speed. The engine is a series 3 XJ6 4.2 litter which has the big vavle head. Please look at the photos closely. There are a pair of XKE torsion bars and pair of upper and lower control arms that go with the car, but are not in the photos. The bonnet id registration and front frame work are worth the reserve on the car.
