Hello Land Cruiser lovers. The bottom line regarding this 1969 FJ40 that I am selling is the following: 1) NO CANCER RUST!!! Beautiful old original patina. Garaged and well cared for. 3 speed column shift original. 2) NEVER been RE-PAINTED since FACTORY. Patina has a nice aged look to it. Gets alot of compliments. Originals in this condition are extremely hard to find as I am sure you know. In fact, I have owned 16 Land Cruisers and have only been able to collect 6 all stock unmolested originals. Rare birds, especially ones that run like this one. 3) COMPLETE overhaul of original F ENGINE. ALL paperwork and detailed receipts listing every new part is included with sale. There is only 10k on the overhaul. Cruiser runs like new. The company who did the overhaul is very well respected in the Southern California Area. No issues with Tranny, Transfer, Electrical, Brakes, Interior, Exterior or Undercarriage. 4) Valve adjustment just completed. All fluids changed out also. NO ISSUES. Ready to roll to Alaska. 5) Newer year 2F Aluminum Valve cover that I got from Specter Off Road has just been put on after valve adjustment. The new model Valve covers as you are far superior than the older ones. 6) If you want a bone stock, all original, perfectly running, restored engine, no issues anywhere, beautiful old original patina fade on the paint, never repainted FJ40 then your looking at it. These, as you know, are extremely hard to find and this one ain't cheap. If your looking for a rusty old beater with below average compression then keep looking. Mine is in extremely rare and in wonderful original condition. All interior seats are in fine condition, excellent shape. 7) Undercarriage RUST FREE and in wonderful condition. The cruiser has been stored in the garage by me and driven on a regular basis. Other owners have been very careful with this cruiser. Even the cig lighter works. GOOD LUCK bidding.
