Vehicle Detail
Here is a very nice Ct70 silvertag bike, Vin is 100602. Engine vin is 100696. This bike has outstanding original paint on it. The original seat with the early bolt on tool kit holder is in excellent shape, The paint is even still glossy on the seat pan. the chrome on the bike is excellent. the taillight bracket which is normally rusty is perfect. The orginal early fenders are excellent also. They have the early lips that are under the edge of the fender(in picture) The rare black plastic levers are still on the bike. Still sports its original NITTO tires. Wheels have never been repainted. the short exhaust pipe looks excellent with no previous repairs. Check out how bright the red on the speedometer face still is. the only thing I did was replace the fork boots on the bike and install a NOS Fork leg as the chrome was peeling on one otherwise 100% untouched early bike. Early carb still on it. the original cables are like new yet. Most cables are all tan and cracked these are like new. Included is the original tool kit. Original battery also in it yet. I have never run this bike but am told it will run with a carb cleaning. I dont run many of the bikes in my collection as they sit in my house. there are some rub marks on the back of the headlight bucket from the cables otherwise the paint is great. A few small chips in the key switch area from the key. One of the best original bikes still untouched with all these early parts still intact. I welcome anyone to come look at this bike. It is located in Dubuque, Iowa. Please ask any questions. I would be willing to drive to meet the buyer within a reasonable distance. Or I can probably put on a pallet and build a crate. Cost would be about 300.00 if shipped to a business with a loading dock or fork lift.On Oct-03-11 at 19:26:12 PDT, seller added the following information: No title for this bike. The original owner says one was never issued for it when new.
