Vehicle Detail
Purchased the Bravada a year ago for my daughter to drive back and forth to university which was 200 miles away and in an area with a lot of snow, I wanted her to have a heavy car with 4 wheel drive. As soon as I purchased the Bravada I put heavy lug tires on it, new shocks, struts and we gave it a good servicing. The tires that were on the car were ok but not the best in the snow. I have the old tires and they go with the car if the buyer wants. The Bravada has served us well. Any issues we have had with the car have been immediately taken cares of and will list all below. My daughter has decided to go to school locally and this car is really to large for her (I knew it was large for her but wanted something substantial for the drive to western PA) and I need to get her a small car that she can use to go back and forth to school here which is only a couple of miles. The Bravada is in great condition for its age. The leather interior is in really nice condition. There are little things that could be taken care of but have not felt that they were really important as the car operates safely and dependable. There is a small dent on the back left hand side, occuasionally there is a ticking noise in the stearing colum which we have been told can be fixed with electronic greese but the colum must be taken apart, sometimes the check engine light will come on but after a short time it goes off.....all the gauges work properly and the Bravada has never overheated or caused any problems what so ever. The body is rust free and only the step rails (tubular running boards) have some rust. I have placed a very low reserve on the Bravada simple because I am not going to give it away. This would be a great first car as you do not have to worry about breakdowns as it is very dependable.
