Up for sale is a near mint condition Saab 9-3 Linear. I know, you've heard this before but this is truly a one in a million car. All services were performed and Gary Small Saab of Portland and now at Garcia Saab here in Albuquerque. Mechanically, the car is flawless. The alternator finally gave up this last month and was replaced by Garcia Saab at which point they commented the car would most likely make 200k without anything but oil changes (Alternators apparently are the one thing that goes out every 100k on these cars). The oil has been changed every 3500 miles since new with full synthetic by a Saab dealer. The transmission, brake, and anti-freeze were also changed at about half of their regular intervals. Because of all this, the Saab still pulls and shifts like a brand new car. Cosmetically, the 9-3 is still quite the looker as you can see from the pictures. These were taken approximately a week ago when I began trying to sell it locally. As you can see, the car is near perfect aside from a few tiny rock chips that have been touched up. On the inside, it still smells like new leather (from the monthly leather conditioning treatments it got). I would encourage anyone interested to come take a look! This is one of those cars that's even better in person. The pictures just don't do it justice. As for options, the car is fairly spartan as to reduce weight and achieve the staggering gas mileage this car is capable of. With cruise control set (65mph), the car is easily capable of achieving 40mpg with a very respectable 24-26mpg in town. While it wasn't loaded with 10k worth of options, it does have everything that makes a car pleasant to drive. Full leather interior, heated seats, power windows and mirrors, 7 speaker sound system, alloy wheels, power moon roof, it's all there. In the interest of full history disclosure, there was one parking lot incident where my rear bumper was cracked by someone backing into it during the first few months I owned it. This was covered by comprehensive insurance and I have complete documentation from Artistic Autobody (USAA preferred) that it was repaired to manufacturer standards. You really can't tell since an OEM bumper replaced the cracked one. As an added bonus, the car also comes with a near brand new set of 17" Momo alloy winter wheels with Kumho snow tires. On occasion, we do see snow here in ABQ and it's always nice to have them to swap out. I'll stop talking and let the pictures convince you how good of a car this is.
