Vehicle Detail
1969 Numbers Matching Camaro Convertible. First the stuff it needs. This car will need the normal sheet metal repairs including floors from the toe kick through the trunk. I had planned to simply get a goodmark floor that includes all the floors including the rails. This would make the car solid. In the front it will need the core support and grill. The Rockers are OK ,quarters and fenders repairable, but that is up to the new buyer to decide. Interior could use new covers. Now the good news! this is a complete original car. The correct 327 and powerglide are in the car and previous owner started the car this summer. The partial Vin is stamped on the block so this is the correct numbers matching engine! The interior is there as well with all of the panels, seats, console, etc. The convertible frame is there and works great, it will need a new ragtop though. The glass appears to be OK. Not sure what else to list, as you can see in the pics, all of the engine stuff is there including the original breather! Send me questions if you have them and I will do my best to answer. (yes I know there is a 350 emblem on the fenders. They are not original to the car, something someone added years ago. This is the original 327 in the car) Not many of these unmolested 69 convertibles left so here's your chance. On Sep-29-11 at 13:30:42 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added a picture of the trim tag. I have recieved several questions about why I am selling. I intended to restore this car but I have no time for another project and the car will help fund a special program for my autistic son.
