Are ya wondering what's going on with this auction? Yeah, me too. It turns out that ebay canned the auction the first time I listed it because I used a naughty word in my auction. I'm a bad bad boy. But the bike is still for sale, so here's the deal: 2005 Honda CBR600RR with only 6k. This bike has spent most of its life sitting still. It is in really good overall condition and it's wearing a good set of Sportmax D218s. The bike handles great, runs like new and looks good. The '05 - '06 in red is the best looking RR there is - it looks like it's flying even when it's standing still. Ok, enough of that, let's get to the bad news: This bike was a theft victim. One day some (profanity) punched out the ignition and rode off with this 600. The insurance company paid out on the bike, so yes - it has the dreaded salvage title. The key switch and upper triple clamp were replaced. But wait wait - all salvaged bikes are junk right? Sure they are... This bike runs, rides and drives like new. And with only 6k it should! It looks great except for a few minor marks on a few of its fairings. I point most of those sorts of things out in this YouTube VIDEO. Because the ignition was replaced there is a new key for it - meaning you'll need to carry the fuel cap key too. Salvage smalvage. Look: there are no twist-ties or super glue holding this bike together. It has all of its original bolts in all the right holes. There is nothing bent up or broken, or any other ugly secrets hiding beneath the fairings. The only thing it needs is you to ride it home. Well, that and a right-hand mirror and $2 worth of plastic clips that I've ordered. You are welcome to come look at the bike in person - as a matter of fact I wish you would come look at it! It is clean and wonderful and has fewer scratches on it than most bikes you see everyday. And about the title? Well, it's not like the bike is slower because of it. And that's kinda why you buy one of these things, isn't it? Anyway, if you'd like to know more feel free to give me a call at 3l9-3l0-045l and I'll tell you anything you might like to know. Thanks and good luck!
