Vehicle Detail

1985 Mustang GT, Black with Grey Interior, 351w professionally built full roller motor with about 10k miles on entire drivetrain since rebuild, I have all the receipts for engine rebuild, rollcage and tranny work ($12k), car was professionally repainted 6 years ago and still looks great, not show quality at this point, has some scratches and nicks here and there, 8 point point roll bar welded with 5 point race harness, welded subframe connectors. Engine – World Aluminum ported heads, Erson 1.7 roller rockers, 1.8 intake, 1.6 exhaust, Custom grind Erson cam (not sure spec.), .20 overbore, Keith Black pistons (9.25:1 comp), stock crank, Manley pro-series timing chain, Chuck Nuytten Holley 650 Dual Feed Carb, Edelbrock Performer Manifold, Ford Motorsports Valve Covers, Promaster Coil, Mallory Billet Distributor with Electronic Advance, Mallory 13mm pro stock wires, Ford shorty headers with h-pipe and dynomax dual exhaust. all ARP bolts, and 8.8 Rearend with 3.73 gears. Transmission is the stock AOD with Hughes 11”2600 Stall Converter and Hughes valve body kit . Radiator is an aluminum Motorcraft. 245/40zr 17 tires with minimum wear mounted on Konig Monsoon's. New battery and alternator as well. The car has no rust within the hatch area, the only two spots on the car that are starting to show some rust are passenger side door inside underneath and drivers side rear floor pan has a dime sized spot you can see from underneath the car. The interior is in real nice shape, seats are great carpet and console also great. Interior lights work, door buzzer, key in ignition, temp gauge, and electric fuel door release works. The tachometer is not working, speedometer seems to be 10 mph over what its actually running at. The radio turns on and makes some noise but antenna is missing so maybe the problem. The car has just been tuned and detailed and is running excellent and looks great. I feel that there was suspension work done to the car too because it drives so tight, but I have no receipts to back that up. It has been garaged its whole life and it shows. There has been a lot of money put into this Mustang over the years and will make a great car for someone. I would drive it anywhere and any distance confidently. This is a no b/s auction as all of my auctions always are. I have described this car accurately and to the best of my knowledge, please ask questions if you have any. I have more photos of the underside and various body and engine pictures that I can send you if you send me your email address. The car is not a show car but it wouldn’t take much to bring it back to that kind of condition. Mostly it would take time, which I don’t have enough of right now, if I had the extra space to store it I would keep the car. There are a lot of resources out there also for these Mustangs, one that I highly recommend is www.foureyedpride.com (username: DDx77) Oh and yes the car is fast, original owner did all the work, the engine was spec'd at 400-425hp, but never dyno'd so I can't confirm if that is correct, and given it's an automatic my guess it's around 320hp to the rear wheels. Again, that's my best guess I have no documentation to back it up only receipts from the build. Just surface rust but it's there along the seam of the hood.
