Hello, Up for auction WITH VERY LOW RESERVE is a beautiful black 1998 BMW 750IL 5.4L V12 with little less than 167K miles. The car runs and drives excellent. The engine has 330HP and runs absolutely fabulous and the 5 speed automatic transmission shifts as it should. Although it has a V12 engine this beauty still gives you about 22 MPG on the highway and maybe about 15MPG with city driving. I am the second owner of this nice Beemer and bought it from Orange County on EBay more than 3 years ago. The only reason to sell it is some unexpected medical bills I have to pay and I am really sorry this beauty has to go. Plus I don’t really drive it lately because of a baby in the house and 2 more wagons purchased this year. When I bought it, the BMW had 138K miles so roughly I put about 30000 miles in 3 years and all of these were highway miles – trips to Denver and all around Colorado and Utah, one to Chicago, couple to Vegas and 2 more West Coast road trips. I can assure you this car is amazing for long trips – it rides so comfortable and smooth that you don’t feel tired after long trips and still it averages about 22 MPG. Oil was changed regularly - always synthetic. The exterior is probably 6 or 7 out of 10 if 10 is perfect, with a lot of scratches and paint chips here and there. The beautiful original black paint is still glossy though and the car looks really nice overall as you can see in the pictures below. The tires have about 50% tread left or more – all season Firestones. There are also 2 small cracks on the windshield one with the size of a quarter and the other with the size of a dime, both have been fixed and did not bother me. I tried to make pictures of those but it was just impossible. Every other imperfection from the exterior is shown in the pictures below with the most noticeable in the rear right corner of the car – some bird poop ruined the paint noticeably and I was not able to fix it with just wax. Nothing major and abnormal for a 13-year old car. The BMW has Original Xenon lights, almost new OEM headlight lenses and original fog lights that all work properly. As a California car and always garaged in Colorado the BMW is rust free. The interior is in very good condition – maybe 8 out of 10 and is very clean. It is a minimal wear for a 13-year-old car with no rips or tears anywhere. This is definitely a smoke-free Beemer from day one. All power options work, as they should and they are too many to list but I’ll still mention some – heated steering wheel, heated mirrors and heated seats (front and back), traction control, cruise, front and rear parking sensors, dynamic stability control, dual climate control with ice-cold A/C that was fully recharged this summer, power windows, rear power shade, power seats, original navigation system and more and more. The CD Changer powers on but it almost always gives an error reading the disk (maybe needs to be cleaned or fixed) and the cassette player works occasionally as well. That’s why I will include for free a nice Coby FM transmitter that I have been using with my IPod for the last couple years. There are no warning lights of any kind on the dashboard. All the books and manuals are there and the car comes with 2 original keys. This car was purchased new back in 1998 for $90 000 !!!
