2006 Honda CBR600RR - runs and drives - naked! I bought this bike with the intent of building it - and never got it done. It's been sitting in my garage for years and the time has come for it to GO. Last week I replaced the old gas. The bike started right up and sounds good. After airing up the bald tires I took it for a spin around the block. It still runs, shifts and stops, so I think it's good to go. I have a clean and clear Iowa title to the bike and it is current on its registration. The title reflects 5,980 miles at time of transfer to me, and the bike was in this condition when I bought it in the Chicago area. I bought it from a bank, it was a repossession that they picked up sometime in 2007. I'm giving you these details to try and demonstrate that despite the fact there is no speedometer on the bike, I believe the mileage figure given on the title may be correct because this bike has spent most of its life sitting. The tires are completely bald and the fork seals are leaking. New O.E. Honda seals are included with the bike. The chain is very rusty and loose. The forks, swingarm, engine, frame, and subframe are all excellent and straight. Some idiot tried to black out the pegs and swingarm. Compressed air makes it flake off. There is a very slight ding in the front rim.
