Exterior paint still shines and interior is very clean. A great little runner – averages about 30mpg. I have gotten 34mpg traveling on the highway, and 26-28mpg when driving around the city. The car is little & peppy, and the hatchback offers plenty of cargo room – especially with the rear folding seats. This car has plenty of options including a sunroof, onboard computer, CD changer, keyless entry, traction control, cruise control, power locks & windows & more! I have 2 sets of keys both with the factory keyless entry remote. The car has newer brakes, new spark plugs, & great all season tires that have about 80% tread left! Clean & has never been in an accident or had paint work done! Runs & drives great! However, this car is 14 years old and does have 179,000 on it – so there are a few issues to be addressed. As this is a national online auction, I want to be picky & address all the issues – as little as they may be. There is a check engine light on – which when scanned gives an O2 sensor code. The car also has the air bag light & brake light on. I’m guessing the airbag sensor has gone bad. The brake light is only on because when the recent brake job was done, they didn’t replace the brake sensors. There is a tiny chip in the front windshield, but is certainly not at a place where it needs to be replaced. The car looks awesome for being 14 years old, but there are a few minor rust spots starting & a few small scratches & dents as expected for its age. The rust is just starting to show and could be easily fixed. There is also a very small oil leak – but nothing serious. As far as the interior goes, the passenger window regulator needs to be replaced (the motor works just fine), and the AC should be recharged next summer. I wouldn’t hesitate to drive it cross-country; it’s a great, fun, little car. A great cheap runner or first time car! Same size engine & gas mileage as a Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla, but with the handling, peppiness, and class of a BMW! In great shape with tons of life left! If you research these cars you’ll find that the 179k miles is barely braking in the 1.9L M44 engine! This car is being sold AS-IS with NO WARRANTY. Please ask ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING!
