1937 Cadillac Series 60 Touring Sedan Amazing original car, never restored! NO RESERVE!! I am selling this for my friend, he acquired the car about 5 years ago. The story goes that the car was originally out of the New York area, and was acquired in the mid 70's by a Cadillac Club president out of Baltimore MD, the car only had 19,500 miles on it in the mid 70's when the odometer part of the speedometer quit working. So we are estimating the mileage today in the mid 30K range. This car has obviously lived a pretty pampered life, look at the interior, that's all original 75 year old mohair! The car is Anthracite Blue not black and the paint appears to be mostly original, of course it has scrapes and chips and lacquer checking as you would expect of a 75 year old paint job, there is one dent/scrape of significance on the drivers side rear fender (pictured) Mechanically it is in great shape, when it was brought out of storage, the gas tank was removed, cleaned and sealed, carburetor, water pump and fuel pump were all rebuilt. Complete new brakes including stainless steel inserts in the wheel cylinders less than 1000 miles ago, new clutch and pressure plate, and battery Everything works except the clock, the radio works as it should and those gauges are a thing of beauty! The car starts runs and drives amazingly, smooth as silk down the road on the newer radial wide white wall tires. These old series 60's were the extremely popular back then and you see why when you ride in one! My friend took the car on a 800 mile trip recently without incident! Questions? Offers?
