I recently purchased this nice Triumph fully intending to bring it back to original condition with little effort. The bike is a very nice, solid platform and runs exceptionally well. It starts on the first or second kick and never misses a beat. I purchased a complete headlight assembly and have the original headlight ears to go with the unit. I also purchased a new Triumph chain guard. The bike is fitted with the Monoblock style carbs with brand new filters. Other than this, what you see is what you get. The bike needs a good cleaning and polishing. I have not touched it other than to ride it a few times since taking possession. I feel my reserve is very reasonable. During the spring of this year when I started doing my market research I found that nice Bonnevilles sell for considerably more than my reserve. Therefore, I don't think any buyer would regret buying this bike at my reserve. I know I coupld probably get considerably more if I waited until this spring but need the cash to finish a car project. So, non numbers matching. I lowered the reserve to compensate.
